The festive opening of the new park shop of Landal Coldenhove Eerbeek was on June 29, 2018. Of course, Van Keulen Interieurbouw was again closely involved in the realisation of this project, just like in many other Landal projects. Joop was also personally present at the opening to see the results himself (as on pictures below).

Chris van de Ven, Retail Development Manager at the head office of Landal GreenParks said, “In 2016 we started the pilot for a new park shop at Landal, as part of park Miggelenberg. This store was then also built by Van Keulen Interieurbouw. As a result of this pilot, we together with Van Keulen looked at the things that went well but also at what could be improved. After this we drew up a formula which we are now applying within several Landal parks. Important points of attention for the new stores were a fresh look and the use of new materials. Together with VKI and the external designer, we have made the finishing touches and we are currently in the midst of rolling out the new formula”.

For this project Monique Ekkelkamp-Wuite, account manager at Van Keulen, is the first point of contact. If something needs to be done, she will look for the best materials and appropriate solutions for the specific request. All shops are digitally designed, after intense consultations, by Van Keulen Interieurbouw. After that, mechanics will drop by to personally measure the shops.

Chris finds the collaboration with both Monique and the team on the shop floor very pleasant. “Over the years, Van Keulen and Landal GreenParks have developed a good working relationship. We really work together to see if everything is right and is running according to plan. We feel that Van Keulen Interieurbouw is thinking along with us of how certain things can be more efficient in the future. This way we can make every shop a bit better. It’s also great that, during several projects, I meet the same people on the shop floor. All of them are professionals who are genuinely fun to work with, down-to-earth and customer-oriented. A beautiful team! What I appreciate most is the clear communication and solution orientated view. When a wrong decision is made by either party, often it is solved even faster than we expected.

The first Landal Heideheuvel store was completed in March 2018 in collaboration with Van Keulen. Four stores in the Netherlands have now been converted, the first in Germany and the first in Denmark is coming soon. The basic design of all shops is identical and there are still many great projects to come!
