With a history of selling glasses that goes back half a century, Bökkerink opticians is an established name in Rijssen. Gerold Bökkerink is proud of his new store, which reopened after extensive remodelling.

The spacious shop gives a clean impression. The subtly applied accents and two fitting tables create a pleasant atmosphere. Mr Bökkerink: “If you photograph each of the four walls against which the more than 1000 glasses are on display, it seems like four different shops. Yet it’s never too much. It all adds up. Of course we had our own ideas but the balance is largely due to Van Keulen Interieurbouw. A few words are enough for them to come up with good proposals that can also be implemented in practice.”

The optician was inspired in large international trade fairs. “With Van Keulen Interieurbouw we have been able to create a beautiful shop that, honestly speaking, I’m extremely proud of. “We enjoyed good collaboration. This is mainly due to the intense and transparent way we communicated with each other. There were always suggestions and valuable additions. Those guys knew exactly what I want.”
